Using Your Assessment
Reviewing Results
After you complete an assessment, review the summary of findings, risk levels, and open actions. Use this view to confirm that all key areas were inspected and that high-risk items are clearly identified.
Ongoing Management
Use your saved assessments as a living record of site conditions. Track progress over time, compare past assessments, and confirm that corrective actions have been closed before your next audit or inspection.
Understanding Risk Levels
WasteAudit AI uses four risk levels to help you prioritize issues. These levels combine likelihood, severity, and regulatory impact so you can focus on what matters most first.
Critical
Immediate threat to health, safety, or the environment, or clear regulatory non-compliance. Requires urgent action and leadership attention.
High
Significant risk or likely non-compliance. Plan and assign corrective actions as soon as possible and monitor completion closely.
Medium
Moderate risk or minor deviation from requirements. Address within a reasonable timeframe and verify closure during follow-up assessments.
Low
Low residual risk or best-practice opportunity. Track for continuous improvement and incorporate into training or routine checks where helpful.
Corrective Actions & Evidence
Assigning Actions
For each finding, assign a corrective action with an owner, due date, and clear description of what needs to be done. Use this to drive accountability and close gaps before audits or inspections.
Documenting Evidence
Attach photos, notes, and other documentation to show how issues were resolved. This evidence supports internal reviews and external inquiries and helps demonstrate your due diligence over time.
Professional Reports
Generate clear, professional reports that summarize findings, risk levels, and corrective actions. Share these with leadership, auditors, or regulators to support decision-making and demonstrate your environmental and safety program.

WasteAudit AI supports professional environmental, health, and safety assessment and decision-making. It does not replace your organization’s legal obligations or certify regulatory compliance. Always consult qualified professionals and applicable regulations when making compliance decisions.
